Exfoliate

Exfoliate your face 24 hours before applying Tanrevel®. Choose between chemical or mechanical exfoliation based on your preference, but make sure to do it 24 hours in advance. This is because DHA (the active ingredient in self-tanners) binds to dead skin cells. We want to remove excess dead skin cells, but not too many, as DHA needs a surface to adhere to.

Apply on Dry and Clean Skin

After exfoliating, it's time for the fun part – self-tanning! Make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying Tanrevel®. Avoid using oil-based products in your cleansing routine for the best results.

Use Tanrevel® Pro for Your Face

We recommend using the Tanrevel® spray tan Device Pro for your face. Choose the formula that best suits your skin tone. Spray tan Formula Dark Cool (formerly “Original Refill”) suits most skin tones and is the standard in our spray tan Kit. It is especially good for cool undertones. Spray-tan Formula Dark Warm (formerly “Luxury Dark”) is ideal for warm undertones. Spray tan Formula Clear, our latest transparent formula, suits all skin tones and won the “Self-Tanning Product of the Year” award at the 2024 Swedish Beauty Awards.

Are You a Self-Tanning Pro?

Use our Self-tan Mousse Dark Cool to "tan-tour" your face. By applying the mousse to selected areas, you can highlight your facial features or create freckles. Experience the same beautiful results as the sun – without the risk.

Extend the Results

Do not use makeup or skincare products for at least two hours after applying Tanrevel®. The longer you wait, the better the results will be.

Don't Forget Sunscreen

Our formulas do not contain sun protection (SPF). Apply sunscreen at least two hours after using Tanrevel®.
